I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that the safe-t-planer should not be run under about 2700rpm...which is the reason i got a 16 speed drill press that can go up to 3400rpm

aarrghh. My local woodcraft doesn't have the cutters in the store. Don't know what they cost. They DO have he planer. $47 IIRC. Comes witha honing stone (mine didn't. It was given to me by a friend)Terry Stowell38996.5799421296
